We’re a small, friendly congregation in Bromley Cross, Bolton, with a genuine love for our community and a commitment to the Bible as God’s word to the world.
Our congregation is made up of ordinary people from all walks of life – different ages, different backgrounds, and different stories – all brought together by one thing: the grace of God in Jesus Christ.

New to Church?
We know that walking into a new building can feel a little daunting, especially if you have never been to church before or haven’t been for a long time. We want to put your mind at ease: there are no experts here, no perfect people, and no pressure, just a family of ordinary folk who love God and care about each other.
If you are looking for a place to belong, a place to ask honest questions, or simply somewhere to explore what Christianity is really about, you are welcome at Cornerstone. Come along this Sunday, or get in touch and we would love to hear from you.
Your first Sunday
What to expect
- ArriveFrom 10:45am. Someone will say hello at the door and point you in the right direction.
- The serviceStarts at 11:00am and lasts about an hour and a quarter. Singing, prayer, a Bible talk.
- ChildrenWelcome in the service, and there is a group for them during the talk.
- What to wearWhatever you are comfortable in. Nobody is checking.
- AfterwardsTea, coffee and a chance to chat. Stay as long or as little as you like.
